Aaron Cleveland Brown

Aaron “Bad Boy” Cleveland Brown, Sr. of Dothan passed away on Monday, November 22, 2010 at his residence. He was 79.

A memorial service will be held at 1:00 pm on Saturday, November 27, 2010 at Sunset Funeral Home with Robert Byrd directing. Graveside services with military honors will follow in Sunset Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 11-1 pm prior to the service at the funeral home.

Mr. Brown was born on November 17, 1931 in Capps, AL and lived there the early part of his life. He was a veteran of the Korean War having served in the U.S. Army. Mr. Brown resided in Dothan for most of his life following his military career and was self employed as a sign painter for many years until his retirement in 2008. He was preceded in death by his wife Emma Louise Brown.rnSurvivors include his sons, Aaron Brown, Jr. of Eufaula and Leon Brown of Dothan; daughters, Dr. Cynthia Brown Mathews of Dothan, Brenda Brown Register of Dothan, and Charlotte Brown Thompson of Dothan; 8 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; brothers, William Brown, James Brown, and Isaiah Brown; sisters, Gwendolyn Crawford Taylor, Arrie Pearl Petty, and Evelyn Sanders; a host of nieces and nephews also survive. Burial Date: January 1, 1970
