Addie Mae Ham

May 25, 1921 — April 12, 2016

Addie Mae Ham, 94, a resident of the Pleasant Plains Community, passed away Tuesday April 12, 2016 at her residence.

Funeral services will be held 4pm Thursday, April 14, 2016 at Sunset Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Mike Parker officiating.  Burial will follow in Gardens of Memory Cemetery with Robert Byrd directing.   The family will receive friends at the Sunset Funeral Home from 3pm until 4pm Thursday.  Flowers are being accepted or memorials may be made to Covenant Hospice or to Pleasant Plains Baptist Church.

Mrs. Ham was born May 25, 1921 in Henry County and she resided most of her life in the Pleasant Plains Community.  She was a homemaker and was a great cook who enjoyed preparing meals for her family.  Mrs. Ham also helped around the farm during the fall by pulling peanut wagons to the mill.  She loved being outdoors and was an avid squirrel hunter and really enjoyed fishing. Mrs. Ham attended Pleasant Plains Baptist Church and was preceded in death by her husband Earnest Adams Ham and her grandson, Ben Feltman.

Survivors include her son, Floyd Barbara Hamm; her daughter, Barbara Ann Raymond Morris; her grandchildren, Timothy Wanda Feltman, Clayton Alisa Hamm, Daphine Hamm; four great-grandchildren, Dylan Feltman, Gabriel Hamm, Holden Feltman and Hayden Feltman; her sister, Floradell Chase; her sister-in-law, Lennie Carpenter; her granddaughter-in-law, Kendra Feltman; very special friends, Regina White, Helen Granger and Cassie Gamble; several nieces and nephews.

Serving as active pallbearers will be Tim Feltman, Dylan Feltman, Clayton Hamm, Gabriel Hamm, Wayne Lewis, Bobby Lewis, Hayden Feltman and Holden Feltman.

Burial Date: January 1, 1970
