Addie Lampkin

Addie Lampkin, a resident of Dothan passed away on Thursday, November 19, 2009 at Westside Terrace. She was 88.

Funeral services will be held 11 am Wednesday November 25, 2009 at Sunset Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Sanders officiating. Graveside services will follow in Friendship Baptist Church Cemetery, Blakely, Georgia with Robert Byrd directing. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5 until 7 pm Tuesday.Mrs. Lampkin was born September 22, 1921 in Henry County, Alabama and she lived the early years of her life there. She married Willie Lee Lampkin and they moved to Blakely, Georgia where she resided most of her life until returning to Dothan. She was a homemaker and a member of Friendship Baptist Church.Survivors include her son, Willie James Lampkin, Fort Pierce, Florida; her daughter, Gracie Smith-Caldwell, Dothan; eighteen grandchildren; sixteen great-grandchildren; and a host of great-great grandchildren. Burial Date: January 1, 1970
