Addie Louise Miller

Addie Louise Miller, a resident of Dothan, Alabama passed away on Saturday, March 9, 2019 at Southeast Health Medical Center. She was 88. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, March 13, 2019 at 2 pm in Sunset Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Tom Anderson officiating. Burial will follow in Gardens of Memory with Sunset Memorial Park directing. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5-7 pm on Tuesday, March 12, 2019. Louise was born on December 20, 1930 in Dale County, Alabama. At the age of 16, she met the love of her life, Levie Miller. After their marriage, she began her life as a homemaker, raising all eight of her children in the Wiregrass area. She enjoyed singing gospel music and reading and teaching the Bible. Louise was a member of Mt. Gilead Baptist Church. Louise was preceded in death by her husband, Levie Miller; her mother, Vallie Anderson; her son, David Allen Miller; her brother, Junior Leger; and her sister, Nell Langerford. Survivors include her children, Robert Wayne Miller, Earl (Cindi) Miller, Jimmie Levi (Margie) Miller, Cathy Ann (Donald) Thames, Joyce Faye (Mitchell) Parmer, Diane Charest and Harold (Renae) Miller; sixteen grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; her brother, Marvin Leger; and a host of nieces and nephews.
