Alice Drake

Alice Drake, a resident of Napier Field, AL passed away on Friday, July 3, 2009 at her residence. She was 49.

Memorial services will be held 2 p.m. Monday, July 6, 2009 in the Sunset Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Don Clark officiating. Burial will follow in Sunset Memorial Park with Robert Byrd directing. The family will receive friends following the services.Mrs. Drake was born March 26, 1960 in Kissimmee, Florida and resided the early years of her life in Blakely, Georgia. She attended Wallace College in the Registered Nurse Program. Mrs. Drake resided in Headland before moving to Dothan in 1998.Survivors include her son, Jonathan Jessica Drake, Newport News, VA; her daughter, Ashley Drake, Dothan, AL; her father, Joe Glass, Dothan, AL; her two brothers, Randy Sandra Glass, Dothan, AL, and Roger Ingamae Glass, Norman, Oklahoma; and 4 nieces and nephews also survive.The family wishes to express their deepest gratitude and appreciation to Wiregrass Hospice for all of their care and compassion. Burial Date: January 1, 1970
