Allen Duncan Rose

Allen Duncan Rose, of Dothan, Alabama, passed away on Wednesday July 20th, 2022 after a brief illness.

Allen was born in Chicago, Illinois on June 20, 1944 to the late William and Anne Rose. He graduated from the Illinois Institute of Technology with a BS in Political Science/Business. He was a member of Delta Tau Delta fraternity. After college, he served in the United States Navy as a Commissioned Officer. He started working for Johnson & Johnson in 1970 and rose to the level of Director of Operations Development by the time he retired in 1994. After moving to Dothan from Pennsylvania, he worked at JC Pennys for over 10 years. Allen enjoyed reading, watching his dogs swim in the pool, Family Game Nights, classic movies, and spending time with his family.

He is preceded in death by his parents and his wife of 53 years, Linda Rose.

He is survived by his children: Laura (Chris) Martin and Keith Rose; four grandchildren: Kyle Martin, Nathan (Jameson) Martin, Elizabeth Martin, Jason Knight; two brothers: Paul Rose and David Rose; his faithful K9 companions: Jingle & Jethro; and several nieces and nephews.
