Amber Nicole "Nici" Reeser, a beacon of joy and inspiration, passed away peacefully on June 13, 2024, at the age of 49, in Graceville, Florida. Born on June 21, 1974, in Little Rock, Arkansas, Nici was a cherished soul whose laughter and spirit left an indelible mark on all who knew her.

Nici's journey was one of courage and determination. At the tender age of nine, she faced a life-changing disability that shaped her path, yet never dimmed her vibrant spirit. Embracing life's challenges with a smile, Nici became an integral part of the Vaughn-Blumberg Services community, where she received support and made lifelong friendships. She shone brightly as a member of the Miracle League, where her love for camaraderie and sportsmanship was evident to all.

Her participation in the Special Olympics was a source of tremendous pride and joy, not only for Nici but for all who cheered her on. Her enthusiasm for competition and her unyielding perseverance were truly inspiring, showcasing the heart of a champion.

Nici was blessed with a large and loving family who adored her deeply. She is survived by her parents, Charles "Gil" and Judy Wagner, father and step-mother Pete and Carole Reeser, brother Darren Mark Reeser (Gina), step-brother Charles G. Wagner (Laura), and step-sister Whitney D. Tolbert (James), as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins who were all touched by her extraordinary love and warmth.

An avid lover of music, Nici's passion for melody and rhythm brought her immense pleasure. Her artistic talents extended to drawing, where she expressed her creativity and view of the world. Riding bikes was another favorite pastime, providing her with a sense of freedom and adventure. Nici's love for swimming was yet another testament to her love of life and her ability to find happiness in simple pleasures.

Those who knew Nici will remember her for her humorous antics that could light up any room. Her spirited nature was contagious, often leading to shared laughter and joy among friends and family. Above all, Nici was loving—a heart full of unconditional love for those around her. Her ability to connect with others, despite any challenges, was one of her most remarkable qualities.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, June 20, 2024 at 2:00 pm in Sunset Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Sunset Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the funeral home for one hour prior to the service.
