Amelia Ruth Epperson

Amelia Ruth Epperson, a resident of Headland and formerly of Dothan, passed away on Sunday, January 6, 2019 at a local hospital. She was 80 years old. Graveside services will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 9, 2019 at Sunset Memorial Park with Rev. Bobby Marks officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Alzheimer's Research Center, 1314 Westgate Pkwy, Dothan, AL 36303. She was preceded in death by her husband, U.S. Army COL (Ret.) Theo S. Epperson. Survived by her two children and their families; son Randall Epperson of Headland, AL, his wife Renee, and children Jake and Rachel, and daughter, Robin (Epperson) Musser of Gloucester, VA, her husband John, and daughters Cassady Smith and Kelsey Lane.
