Amy Elizabeth Langford

April 26, 1988 — December 2, 2009

Amy Elizabeth Langford, a resident of Winchester, VA and formerly of Daleville, AL passed away on Wednesday, December 2, 2009 at Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital in Roanoke, VA from injuries sustained in an automobile accident en route to the Alabama and Auburn football game. She was 21.

Funeral services will be held at 2pm on Monday, December 7, 2009 in the Sunset Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Roy Stewart officiating. Burial will follow in Sunset Memorial Park with Robert Byrd directing. The family will receive friends from 1-2pm on Monday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorial contributions be made to the National Arbor Day Foundation, 211 North 12th Street, Lincoln, Nebraska 68508. Amy was born on April 26, 1988 in Houston County and resided in Daleville prior to moving to Winchester, Virginia in 1997. She attended Daleville Elementary and Mill Brook High School in Winchester, VA. Amy was employed with Outback Steak House. She loved fishing and was an avid hunter and Alabama football fan.Survivors include her parents Chip Langford of Enterprise, AL and Jayne Hensley of Winchester, VA; a brother, Trey Langford of Winchester, VA; her sister, Christina Langford of Winchester, VA; her grandparents, William Delbert Hensley of Warrenton, VA, Gloria VanRavison of Enterprise, AL, Bob and Elizabeth Langford of Daleville, AL; uncle and aunts, Benny and Teresa Langford of Wicksburg, AL, and Janet Bonci; cousins, Zack and Ryan Bonci, Cole and Ragen Langford all of Wicksburg, AL. Burial Date: January 1, 1970
