Andrew Antonio "Pete" Ousley of Dothan passed away on October 12, 2019. He was 52. Funeral services will be held at 11 am on Friday, October 18, 2019, in Sunset Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Don Clark and Deacon Richard Campbell officiating. Burial will follow in County Line Missionary Baptist Church in Slocomb, AL. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday from 10-11 am. Pete was born on January 31, 1967 to Marshall Hall and Charlotte Snead. He grew up in Geneva County and later graduated from Slocomb High School, Class of 1985. After high school, he worked as a truck driver for Barrentine Wholesale Seafood and later worked for Harper Seafood in Thomasville, GA. He then decided to own and operate Andrew Ousley Trucking, from 1999 until his passing. He was known as a hardworking and caring man who often didn't take pay for all his hard work. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him. He is survived by his wife, Dorothy Ousley; two sons, Eric (Kimberly) Ward and Gerald Ward; one daughter, Stephanie Ward; four grandchildren, Raphael, Kanaka, Kalei, and Eric; three sisters, Gloria Jean, Charlotte and Gwendylon; and a host of nieces, nephews and friends. Burial Date October 18, 2019 Funeral services will be held at 11 am on Friday, October 18, 2019, in Sunset Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Don Clark and Pastor Richard Parker officiating. Burial will follow in County Line Missionary Baptist Church in Slocomb, AL. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday from 10-11 am.
