Andrew Lee Salter, a resident of Valley, AL passed away on Friday, September 4, 2009 at Southeast Alabama Medical Center. He was 18.rnFuneral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, September 10, 2009 at the Sunset Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Eddie Littlefield officiating. Interment will follow in Sunset Memorial Park with Robert Byrd directing. The family will receive friends from 5-7 p.m. on Wednesday at the funeral home. At all other times the family will be at 4411 Prevatt Rd., Cowarts, AL.rnAndrew was born on August 11, 1991 in Houston County and lived in Dothan most of his life. He attended Ashford High School and graduated Valley High School. He has resided in Valley, AL since 2005 and recently started attending Troy University. Andrew was a member of the Porch Band of the Creek Indians.rnSurvivors include his parents, Ronnie and Sandy Salter, Jr. of Valley, AL and Stacie and Charles Keating of Dothan; grandparents, Ronnie and Zeila Salter of Cusseta, GA, Arthur and Janice Cannon of Cottonwood, AL, Charlotte and Martin Meckel of Germany, Kay Turner of Slocomb, AL; great-grandparents, Ella Salter of Robertsdale, AL, Ernestine and D.C.
