Annette's life was a testament to her faith-filled spirit, often drawing strength and solace from the scripture, particularly Psalms 121:1-2. Her deep-rooted beliefs were evident in her everyday actions and the way she gracefully navigated life's challenges. Annette's love for crossword puzzles and reading nonfiction books was more than a pastime; it was a reflection of her love for words and the joy she found in the simple pleasures of life.

She was a tireless advocate for education, understanding its power to uplift and inspire. Annette's own experiences as a child in Houston County fueled her passion to support educational endeavors, ensuring that the next generations had the foundations to build upon their dreams.

She is survived by her loving daughter, Elaine Tugman; her adored granddaughters, Brandi Daniels, Lauryn Tugman, and Gabrielle Tugman; and her treasured great-grandson, Jatayvion Bass. Her sister, Elester Anderson, along with many nieces and nephews, will continue to honor Annette's memory by embodying the values she held dear. Annette was preceded in death by her beloved son, Theodore Daniels, whose memory remained a guiding light in her life.
