Arithien Cain Curry, 18, a resident of Taylor, went home to be with the Lord on April 3, 2016.
Funeral Services will be held at 1 pm on Saturday, April 9, 2016 at Westgate Church of Christ with Minister Daniel Turner officiating. The family will receive friends from 5-8 pm on Friday, April 8, 2016 in Sunset Funeral Home Chapel, 1700 Barrington Road, Midland City, AL 36350. Burial will follow in Sunset Memorial Park with Robert Byrd directing. Arithien attended Poplar Springs High School in Florida and Rehobeth High School, where he was a senior. He was active in football, basketball, and baseball.
Survivors include his mother, Tracy Johnson; his father, Anthony Curry; his sisters, Averie Curry and Bri Opry; his brother, Daymon Curry; grandmothers, Linda Brumbaugh and Ola Mae Curry; his grandfather, Victor Johnson; Great Grandparents Larry Peggy Bracewell; his girlfriend, Sigourney Williams; and a whole host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and special family friends.
He is proceeded in death by his great-grandparents Johnnie Mae Rabb, Dorothy and Herman Johnson.
Pallbearers include Tre Bennett, Jadrien Smith, Malik Brascomb, Lewis "PJ" Teague, Anthony Hunter, Grant Williams, and Honorary pallbearer Daymon Curry.
