Augusta Cook A.C. McGarrh, 85, of Dothan went to be with the Lord Tuesday, April 12, 2011 at his residence.

rnServices will be held 11 am Friday, April 15, 2011 at Sunset Funeral Home with Father Patrick Gallagher officiating. Military Honors will follow in Sunset Memorial Park. rnMr. McGarrh was born August 16, 1925 in Stewart, Mississippi. A Veteran of WWII, Mac, as he was fondly known, loved to play duplicate bridge and had achieved the rank of Silver Life Master. rnHe leaves behind his loving wife of 55 years Ollie McGarrh of Dothan; his beloved children, daughters Mary McGarrh of Memphis, TN and Susan Frederick Gary of Dothan, AL, and sons David Flippo of Biloxi, MS, and Troy Flippo of Phoenix, AZ; he also leaves behind 9 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren; he is survived by one brother Ben Mitchell of Houston, TX. rnIn lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Houston-Love Memorial Library Building Fund. Burial Date: January 1, 1970
