Barbara Gail Adams

Barbara Gail Adams, known affectionately as Gail to her friends and family, passed away on January 20, 2025, at the age of 71. She was born on April 18, 1953, in Troy, Alabama. Her final days were spent in Dothan, Alabama, surrounded by the love and comfort of her children.

 Gail was preceded in death by her parents Gaston and Violet Bailey Hagan, husband Greg Adams, brother Larry Gaston Hagan, and sister Loretta Elease Hagan Simmons. Her memory will be treasured by her children, Scott Alexander Sanders (Amy) of Dothan, Alabama and Christy Gail Williams (Wayne) of Valdosta, Georgia. Her legacy of love continues through her grandchildren, Cody Wayne Williams (Karly), Caroline Gail Williams, Scott Alexander Sanders II, Finnigan Braswell Sanders, and Hampton Hershel Sanders. Gail’s brothers, Merrill (Ouida) of Montgomery, Alabama, and Jerry Hagan (Pat) of Lewis, Delaware, numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins along with her beloved fur babies Muffin, Bailey, and Punkin.

 As we bid farewell to Barbara Gail Adams, we celebrate a life lived with love. Those who knew Gail will remember her for her loving nature, ability to listen, share, and give from the heart. 

 Funeral services will be at 4pm, Friday, January 24, 2025, in the Sunset Funeral Home Chapel. The family will receive friends from 3-4pm Friday prior to the services. Burial will follow in Sunset Memorial Park Cemetery.
