Barbara “Sue” Walden

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, April 3, 2021 at 2:00 pm in Sunset Funeral Home chapel with Brother Charles Goldsmith officiating. Burial will follow in Newton City Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home for one hour prior to the service.

Sue was born on December 15, 1946 in Florida to her parents, Clifford Standridge and Rena Louise Cross Standridge. She was "one in a million" and loved her family especially her grandchildren who called her "Nanny Sue." Sue enjoyed cooking and sewing. She will be dearly missed by her family.

Sue was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters, two brothers, and her daughter, Bobbie Sue "Susie" Walden.

Survivors include her son, Clifford "Bean" (Gail Hernandez) Bostick; her daughter, Donna (Tony) Walden-Watson; her grandchildren, Chris Bostick, Jonathan Bostick, Racheal Watson and Jordan Lee (Jasmine) Watson; her special K-9 companion, Roscoe; and a host of nieces, nephews and extended family members.
