Barbara W. Woodham

Barbara W. Woodham, 72, a resident of Midland City passed away Friday, September 2, 2016 at Westside Terrace.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, September 6, 2016 at the Sunset Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Max McKinney officiating. Burial with military honors will follow in Sunset Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 1-2:00 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.

Mrs. Woodham was born July 27, 1944 in East Bank, WV and resided there the early part of her life graduating from East Bank High School. She was a veteran of the US Navy and was also employed for several years with Green Tree Apartments Kenneth Everett Rentals in Dothan as property manager until her retirement in 2011. She loved fishing and Auburn Football and was a member of Mt. Zion Assembly of God Church. Mrs. Woodham was preceded in death by her brother, Jess Withrow; her sister, Evelyn Slusher; her step-daughter, Joyce George; her step-son, Bruce Woodham.

Survivors include her husband Harvey Woodham; sons, Scott Kara Riley and Cliff Lori Woodham; step-sons, Royce Woodham, Danny Margie Woodham and Richard Angie Woodham; step-daughter, Susie Gary Zimmerman; grandchildren, Cristian Woodham, Savannah Woodham, Hannah Riley, Emily Riley, Karyn Riley, and Kathryn Riley; brothers, Ronnie Withrow and Russell Withrow; sister, Dorothy Albert; several nieces and nephews.
