Betty Jane Kemp Estoch

Betty Jane Kemp Estoch, a resident of Dothan passed away on Saturday, January 17, 2009 at Extendicare Health and Rehab. She was 78.

A prayer service will be held at 6:30 p.m. on Friday, January 23, 2009 at Sunset Memorial Park with Father Patrick Gallagher officiating. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. on Friday, January 23, 2009 at Sunset Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers memorial donation may be made to the Women of St. Columba, 2700 W. Main St., Dothan, AL, 36303.

Mrs. Estoch was born on July 28, 1930 in Topton, PA and resided in the Huff Church Community for the early years of her life. She was employed with AT&T for 30 years prior to her retirement in 1986. She resided in Emmaus, PA before moving to Dothan in 1990 where she is a member of St. Columba Catholic Church, the Women of St. Columba, and a volunteer with Catholic Social Services and Hospice.

Mrs. Estoch was preceded in death by her parents, John and Sallie Kemp, her husband Albert Estoch and a sister Mae Bogert.

Survivors include her daughter Linda Dennis Matthews of Dothan, a son James Chris Estoch of Temecula, CA; grandchildren, Kevin Matthews of Hartsel, CO, Brandon Matthews of Bozeman, MT, Jay Estoch of Menifee, CA, Casey Warren of Menifee, CA; 7 great-grandchildren; brothers and sisters, Carl Dinee Kemp, Dennis Dottie Kemp, Marie Frederick, Ruby Carson all of Pennsylvania; a brother-in-law, William Bogert of PA; several nieces and nephews.
