Betty Ruth Tolliver

Betty Ruth Tolliver of Webb, Alabama passed away on Thursday, September 7, 2017 at her residence. She was 62.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, September 9, 2017 at 1:00 pm in Sunset Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Sunset Memorial Park with Robert Byrd directing. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 12-1 before the service.

Mrs. Tolliver was born on July 25, 1955 in Troy, Alabama and moved to Dothan in the spring of 1969. She worked at Warner’s for 13 years and then with the Dothan City Schools for 12 years. Mrs. Tolliver was a good Bible teacher and of the Pentacostal faith. She liked to fish, play basketball and loved running. Her grandkids were her #1 priority. She also loved to love others, enjoyed cooking for her family, reading her Bible and spreading the love for faith to others.

Survivors include her husband, Edward Tolliver; children, Lovie Mitchell Tolliver, Elbert Tolliver, Genifer Tolliver, Lovie Michele Tolliver and Loretta Copeland; grandchildren, Trevor Jackson, Elexis Jackson, Dmitri Jackson, Anastasia Jackson, Willow B. Smith, Noah Tolliver, Alana Tolliver, Josie Tolliver, Vanessa Tolliver, Gabrielle Tolliver, Aviano Tolliver, Xiana Tolliver and Levi Tolliver; a great grandchild, London Mack; a brother, James Henry Copeland; and a sister, Annie Dean Robison.< /p> ) Burial Date September 9, 2017
