Bobbie Jean (Cunningham) Weimorts

Bobbie Cunningham Weimorts and Donnie Weimorts were married on 5/15/1978, until Donnie passed on 10/10/2014. They had made the decision that whoever passed first would keep their ashes so that they could be interred together.


Graveside services will be held 2pm on Saturday, May 21, 2022, at Sunset Memorial Park Cemetery.

Donnie Weimorts was Born on 10/26/1956 at Ft. Rucker, Alabama hospital and lived most of his life around the Defuniak Springs and Paxton Areas of Florida. He worked as a Sheriff's Deputy until moving to Lafayette, Louisiana to work on the Oil Rigs as a Well Tester. Donnie was diagnosed with a terminal illness in 2009 and passed away 5 years later on 10/10/2014. He was a good Stepfather to his 6 kids, a passionate Alabama fan, enjoyed watching John Wayne movies, and loved to be with his cat, Boo.

Boo, was an Orange Persian that Donnie rescued from a pet store because he didn't look like anyone would buy him. Boo stuck with Donnie for many years, until succumbing to cancer at the age of 14.

Bobbie was born on 7/13/1942 in Columbia, South Carolina. She was a nurse for 27 years at the
Amelia Manor Assisted Living Facility in Lafayette, Louisiana till she retired to stay home and take
care of Donnie till he passed. Bobbie moved to Alabama in 201 7, to take care of her daughter after her. Son -in law passed away. She was diagnosed with Cancer in January of 2022 and succumbed to it on 5/5/2022. Bobbie was an avid Crocheter and would make Lap robes for Hospice in her Son-in Law's memory. She loved to cook like she was feeding an army. She would do for others before she would do for herself and she was considered a "Mom" by more than just her children.

Albert Cunningham/ Helen Cunningham Swanner, a son, Gregory Davisson, Son-in -law, Wallace
Mitchell, Grandchild, Aaron Hendrickson, Nephew, Michael Johnson, Great Nephew, Gabriel Schulze, and a Sister, Elaine Palmer.

Survivor includes: Daughters. Nickie Mitchell, Kathy Davis, Sons: Joe Beyers, Ray Beyers, Richard
Beyers Grand Children: Jennifer(Tom)Beyers Klingenmeier" Michelle Beyers, Natalie Davisson,
Christopher Davisson. Great Grandchild. Lucas Klingenmeier, Brothers: David Weimorts, Ronnie
Weimorts, David (Toni) Cunningham, Sisters. Joyce(Howard)Daniels,Gay Nell(Jim) Foster
Marie(Ron Beller)Olsen, Pattie(John)Goodman, Charlotte(Mike)Willis and numerous Cousins, Nieces, Nephew.
