Bobby Gene Phillips

Bobby Gene Phillips, a resident of Dothan, passed away on Sunday, April 16, 2017. He was 79.

A memorial service will be held at 4 pm Wednesday, April 19, 2017 in Sunset Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Judy Dyson officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday from 3-4 pm.

Mr. Phillips was born on April 23, 1937 in Headland, Alabama and resided in Dothan all of his life. He loved to fish and Braves baseball and Alabama football.

Mr. Phillips was preceded in death by his daughter, Sheila Phillips.

Survivors include his sons, Jim Phillips, Bert Phillips, and Vance Phillips; his daughter, Bobbie Beavers; several grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.
