Bonnie Faye Beasley Flowers, a resident of Dothan, passed away on Saturday, July 28, 2018 at a local hospital. She was 80 years old. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, July 31, 2018 at the Sunset Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Kyle Gatlin officiating. Burial will follow in Sunset Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 10-11:00 a.m. prior to the service at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the charity of your choice. Ms. Flowers was born October 10, 1937 in Crenshaw County, AL and spent the early part of her life in Troy, AL. She was a 1955 graduate from Troy High School and was a mom and homemaker for several years. Later in life she decided to enter the work force and obtained her real estate license and worked as a realtor in the Dothan area for several years prior to her retirement. Bonnie loved Elvis Presley music and the Alabama Crimson Tide. She also was known for her world-famous Pecan Pie. Survivors include her daughter, Faye Flowers (Larry) Phillips; her son, Thomas (Patti) Flowers; grandchildren, John Flowers, Daniel Phillips, Hillery (Andrew) Brooks, and Brittney (Micah) Brown; 3 great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews also survive. Burial Date July 31, 2018 Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, July 31, 2018 at the Sunset Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Kyle Gatlin officiating.
