Bonnie Lyn Moore

January 8, 1964 — July 2, 2009

Mrs. Bonnie Lyn Moore of Midland City passed away on Thursday, July 2, 2009 at Flowers Hospital. She was 45.

Funeral services will be held on Sunday, July 5, 2009 at 3:30 p.m. in the Sunset Funeral Home Chapel with Allen Donelli officiating. Burial will follow in Sunset Memorial Park with Robert Byrd directing. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 1-3 pm on Sunday. Flowers will be accepted or memorial donations may be made to the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 866 N. Brannon Stand Rd., Midland City, AL, 36350.Bonnie was born on January 8, 1964 in Ft. Benning, GA and moved to the Ozark area when she was a young child. She attended the Ozark Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses and was baptized on July 29, 1978. There she met and fell in love with her soul mate Tom and they were married on April 17, 1982. They later moved to Midland City where they raised their 3 children. Bonnie worked with Dale County High School and Midland City Elementary School for more than 10 years. She enjoyed helping others learn about Bible truths, along with scrapbooking and making jewelry. All those who knew her will never forget her laughter, her sweet and caring personality, her unselfish attitude and her ability to inspire others to have an optimistic view on life. She was a wonderful and loving wife, mother, sister and friend. She will be deeply missed but always remembered. Survivors include her loving husband, Tommy Ross Moore; her daughter and son-in-law, Brandy Marie Lowe and Raymond Lamont Lowe; her 2 sons, Timothy Michael Moore, Aaron Justin Moore; brothers, Donald “Donnie” Colby and his wife Elizabeth “Liz”, Ronald “Ronnie” Colby; her mother-in-law Mary Etheridge; grandparents, Chuck and Leona Ortoski; several sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law and numerous nieces and nephews also survive. Burial Date: January 1, 1970
