Brady E. Mendheim

Brady E. Mendheim, Sr., 74, a lifelong resident of Dothan passed away peacefully at his home Wednesday, June 24, 2015 from Parkinson's Disease.

Funeral services will be 11:30 a.m. Friday, June 26, 2015 at First Baptist Church of Dothan with Dr. Johnny Fain officiating. The family will receive friends from 10-11:30 a.m. prior to the service at the church.  Flowers are being accepted or  memorial donations may be made to Parkinson's Disease Research at the UAB-Department of Neurology, 1720 7th Ave. South, SC 350 East, Birmingham, AL, 35294 or to the Ronnie Mendheim Memorial Scholarship Fund, c/o SACF, 111 Adris Place, Suite 8, Dothan, AL, 36303.

Mr. Mendheim was born May 3, 1941 in Houston County and was a 1959 graduate of Dothan High School. He graduated from Auburn University in 1964 with a Pharmacy Degree and returned to Dothan to work at the Lamar Pharmacy and City Drug Store. He later owned and operated Woodland Pharmacy for many years and then worked with Harco and Rite Aid Pharmacy until his retirement in 2010. Mr. Mendheim was a devoted Christian and a member of First Baptist Church of Dothan where he served as Deacon for many years. He was preceded in death by his wife of 46 years Nancy Mendheim.

Survivors include his sons, Brad Michelle Mendheim of Dothan and Ross Jessica Mendheim of Vestavia; grandsons, Connor, Ryan, Carson, Luke, Ben, and Brady; brothers, Donald Brenda Mendheim, Jackie Alice Mendheim, and David Leah Mendheim.
