Brittney Grine

Brittney Elizabeth Smith Grine, of Ashford died Tuesday, March 8, 2011 at her residence following an extended illness. She was 23.

Funeral services will be held at 2pm on Sunday, March 13, 2011 at Sunset Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Ashford City Cemetery with Sunset Funeral Home directing. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6-8pm on Saturday. In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorial contributions be made to Wiregrass Hospice, 2740 Headland Ave., Dothan, AL 36303.Mrs. Grine was born on November 17, 1987 in Houston County and resided in Ashford all of her life. She was a 2006 graduate of Ashford High School.Survivors include her parents, Johnnie R. and Brenda G. Smith, Ashford; her sister, Crystal G. Smith, Dothan; her two half sisters, Patricia A. Smith, Monroe, LA and Sheila K. Davis, Ashford; her three half brothers, Johnnie R. Smith, Jr., Savannah, GA, Billy L. Smith, Savannah, GA, and Robert W. Smith, Dothan; and her grandfather, John D. Smith, Bloomingdale, GA; several aunts, uncles, and cousins also survive. The family would like to thank a very special nurse and caregiver with Wiregrass Hospice, Sandra. Burial Date: January 1, 1970
