Carlene Leger

Carlene Leger of Dothan, Alabama passed away on Tuesday, September 26, 2017 at her residence. She was 71.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, September 28, 2017 at 2 pm in Sunset Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Pat Andrews officiating. Burial will follow in Sunset Memorial Park with Robert Byrd directing. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 1-2 pm prior to the service.

Mrs. Leger was born in Dothan, Alabama on June 22, 1946 and lived there most of her life. As a child, she worked with her father on the farm. She was a homemaker and worked as a cashier at Taylor Grocery for several years until her retirement. Mrs. Leger loved to garden and enjoyed growing roses especially her favorite, the yellow rose. She was a member of Taylor Baptist Church.

Survivors include her husband of 34 years, Marvin Leger; her son and daughter-in-law, Lee and Virgina Harris; her granddaughter, Gracie Harris; sisters-in-law, Louise Miller and Myrtle Leger; seven nephews; five nieces; and several great-nieces and nephews.< /p> ) Burial Date September 28, 2017
