Carlos Mccoy Tony Simons

Carlos McCoy Tony Simons, a resident of Dothan passed away on Monday, March 27, 2017 at a local hospital. He was 86.

Entombment services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, March 31, 2017 in Sunset Memorial Park.

Mr. Simons was born on October 22, 1930 in Ronne County, West Virginia. He resided in Albany, GA for several years prior to moving to Dothan 10 years ago. He was employed as a residential landscaper for several years. Tony was a talented gardener and loved to work in his yard. He also enjoyed tinkering in his shop and was a craftsman, doing mechanic work as well as woodworking.

Survivors include his wife, Mary Erickson Simons; his step-son, Fred (Frances) Erickson; a granddaughter, Jennifer L. Erickson; a great-granddaughter, Savanah N. Swearingen; a host of other family and friends
