Carlton Bobby Langford

Carlton Bobby Langford, 83, of Daleville died Saturday, June 5, 2021, at his residence following an extended illness.

Graveside services will be held 2pm Sunday, June 6, 2021, in Sunset Memorial Park with Anthony Ryan Bonci officiating.

Mr. Langford was born September 9, 1937, in Winder, Georgia and lived the early years of his life there. He moved to Daleville in 1966 and was a helicopter instructor pilot at Fort Rucker. Mr. Langford opened and operated Langford Auto for several years until his retirement in 2011. He was a 32-degree Mason and a member of the Daleville Masonic Lodge. Mr. Langford was also a Shriner.

Mr. Langford was preceded in death by his son, Chip Langford, his granddaughter, Amy Elizabeth Langford, and by his great-grandson, Brodie Lockette.

Survivors include his wife of 60 years, Elizabeth Langford; his children, Carl Benjamin "Benny" Langford and Janet Langford; his 6 grandchildren, Trey Langford, Christina Lockette, Anthony Ryan Bonci, Zachary Bonci, Cole Marton Langford, and Ragan Langford; his 5 great-grandchildren, Shyanne Lockette, Brantley Lockette, Aspen Lockette, Charlee Anna Marie Bonci, and Oliver Bonci; his 2 nephews, Greg Langford and Gary Langford. Burial Date June 6, 2021 Graveside services will be held 2pm Sunday, June 6, 2021, in Sunset Memorial Park with Anthony Ryan Bonci officiating.
