Carolyn Brackin

Carolyn Brackin, 78, of Dothan passed away on Monday, September 19, 2016 at her residence.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, September 21, 2016 at the Sunset Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Mike Griggs and Novia Brackin officiating. Burial will follow in Sunset Memorial Park with Robert Byrd directing. The family will receive friends from 12-2:00 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.

Mrs. Brackin was born on April 20, 1938 in Webb, AL and lived the early part of her life there. She was employed with the Evers Clinic in Cottonwood, AL and later with Newman Sitter Service.

Survivors include her husband, Bobby Brackin; her sons, Novia Brackin and Marty Nora Brackin; her daughter, Kathy Billy Frazier; her four grandchildren, Christopher Brackin, Jason Thweatt, Andrew Brackin and Anthony Brackin; her brothers, Lee Lewis, Chester Lewis, Lester Lewis, and Lonnie Gerald Lewis; her sisters, Dorothy Lewis, Tinny Lewis, Pat Norton and Linda Sue.
