Carolyn Green Sullivan

February 16, 1947 — November 22, 2015

Carolyn Green Sullivan went to be with her Lord and Savior November 22, 2015 at the age of 68 following a courageous battle with cancer. She was at home with her family and loved ones at her side.

Carolyn was born February 16, 1947 in Dothan, Alabama and lived near Midland City, Alabama most of her life. She owned Roto Rooter in Ozark and served on the board of the AOWA until her recent retirement spending her remaining days benevolently caring for her family.

She was married to Jerry Sullivan for over 50 years until his death in 2013. She joins him and their infant son, Jerry Scott Sullivan, her parents, O.D. and Evelyn Green, a sister, Frankie Parker, and other cherished family in heaven. She leaves behind her daughters: Melissa Sheffield Sanders Manning and Cristie Sullivan; grandchildren: Angel Sheffield Bowser Rob, Dallas Sheffield, Sierra Sheffield, and Courtney Vann; sisters Barbara Walding and Gail Stephens and brother Randy Green Lisa; mother-in-law Ruby Sullivan; sisters-in-law Joyce Klubocar and Barbara Durden Roger; and many more precious family members and loved ones.

Graveside services will be held Wednesday, November 25, 2015 at 2:00 PM at Midland City Cemetery with the Reverend Ray Kelley officiating and Robert Byrd directing. The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM Tuesday, November 24, 2015 at Sunset Memorial Park.

Active pallbearers include Mikie Walding, Jr., Mark Walding, Michael Walding, Mason Walding, Blake Stephens, Matt Green, and Todd Green.
