Carrie Ellen Baell, 69, of Dothan passed away Thursday, March 15, 2012 at her residence.

rnFuneral services will be held 2 pm Saturday, March 17, 2012 at Sunset Funeral Home with Rev. Don Clark officiating. Burial will follow in Sunset Memorial Park with Robert Byrd directing. The family will receive friends from 12-2 pm prior to the service at the funeral home. rnMrs. Baell was born February 28, 1943 in Ozark and lived most of her life there. She moved to Dothan in 2008 and was a homemaker. She was an avid bingo player and was a member of the Pleasant Grove Baptist Church. rnSurvivors include her husband of 47 years Thomas Baell of Dothan; daughters, Freda Darrell Sells of Atmore, AL, Joyce Todd Messick of Malvern, AL, Sandra Baell of Dothan, and Martha Neal Mitchem of Midland City, AL; 9 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren; brothers, Toby Calhoun of Defuniak Springs, FL and Jerry Calhoun of Malvern, AL; sisters, Shirley Sanders of Brewton, AL and JoAnn Veil of Panama City, FL; several nieces and nephews also survive. Burial Date: January 1, 1970
