Catherine Virginia Stephens Hall

October 3, 1931 — August 16, 2020

Ms. Catherine Virginia Stephens Hall, a longtime resident of Dothan, passed away peacefully on Sunday, August 16, 2020, after a brief illness not associated with coronavirus. She was 88 years young. Graveside services will be held at 2 pm on Tuesday, August 18, 2020 in Bethlehem Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery in Geneva County with Rev. Charles Goldsmith officiating. Due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic there will be no visitation, but family will receive friends at Brenda's house on County Road 63 in Midland City, AL. Ms. Hall was preceded in death by her husband, Jerry Hall and her infant son, Daniel Hall, father and mother, Pascal and Ola Stephens, her 3 brothers and 2 sisters. Ms. Hall was born in Jericho, Alabama, and was a resident of Dothan and retired from Ansell Corporation after 30 or more years of service. Ms. Hall is survived by her 4 daughters, Betty Cunningham of Dothan, Brenda (Ronnie) Ingram of Midland City, Debra Santana of Dothan, Janella Riley (Donald Weeks) of Midland City; her son, Jerry Hall, Jr. of Wicksburg; her sister, Martha Jean "Mossie" and JD Cook of Bainbridge , GA ; her brother-in-law, James (Peggy) Hall of Malvern; her 2 sisters-in-law, Jimmi Lou Woodham and Joann Beals both of Illinois; her 9 grandchildren; her 18 great-grandchildren; and 11 great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Serving as active pallbearers will be Ken Cunningham, Jerry Lee Sappington, Robert Turner, Tommy Hall, Jeremy Hall, and Jerad Hall. The family would like to extend a special thanks to Kindred Hospice for the loving care they provided for our momma. Also, a special thanks to Sunset Memorial Park, Funeral Home, & Crematory for the loving care they provided while making these funeral arrangements. Burial Date August 18, 2020 Graveside services will be held at 2 pm on Tuesday, August 18, 2020 in Bethlehem Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery in Geneva County with Rev. Charles Goldsmith officiating. Due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic there will be no visitation, but family will receive friends @ Brenda's house on County Road 63 in Midland City, AL.
