Chad Everett Mckenzie

Chad Everett "Chadder Box" McKenzie, 20, of Dothan passed away Saturday, September 17, 2011 at a local hospital.

rnFuneral services will be held 2 pm Tuesday, September 20, 2011 at Sunset Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Sunset Memorial Park with Robert Byrd directing. The family will receive friends from 6-8 pm Monday at the funeral home. rnChad was born September 6, 1991 in Dothan and lived here all of his life. He attended Cottonwood High School and was employed with McKenzie Tire Services since the age of 15. At the time of his death he was employed with Tri-State Truck and Accessories. Chad was preceded in death by his grandmother Polly McKenzie and an uncle Scott Pharr. rnSurvivors include his parents, Barry Anisa McKenzie of Dothan, and Shannon Pharr of Webb; grandparents, Patsy Todd of Webb, Leonard Sybil Pharr of Webb, Ephraim and Louise McKenzie of Webb; step-grandmother, Joan Williams of Cedar Town, GA; brothers, Brandon McKenzie of Webb and Eric Jessie McKenzie of Headland; sister, Miranda McKenzie of Dothan; step-brothers, Phillip Turner of Malvern and Caleb Durrance of Dothan; step-sister, Stephanie Mathis of Midland City; nieces, Hope McKenzie and SummerRain McKenzie; a nephew Lucas Turner; several aunts, uncles and cousins. rnServing as pallbearers will be Christopher Cobb, Cory Cobb, Eric McKenzie, Brandon McKenzie, Michael McKenzie, and Caleb Durrance.
