Charles Everett "Chuck" Thomas, Jr., aged 70, of Daleville, AL passed away peacefully on October 20, 2024. Born on March 16, 1954, Chuck lived a life marked by service, joy, and an unwavering love for his family and friends.
Chuck was known for his childlike outlook on life, a trait that drew people to him and filled any room he entered with laughter and warmth. His outgoing nature was not just a personal characteristic but a guiding principle that led him through a life rich in experiences and relationships. He served his country with honor and pride as a member of the United States Navy, a period of his life that instilled in him a deep sense of duty and camaraderie.
After his military service, Chuck became an active member of the Faith Assembly Church in Enterprise, where he found a spiritual community that matched his passion for life and his commitment to service. His involvement in the church was not just as a member but as a beacon of light and hope to all who knew him.

Chuck is survived by his mother, Georgia Thomas; sisters, Carol Ellis, Karen Wilkerson (Skip), and Cheryl Thomley; his brother, Brian Thomas (Teri); along with a host of nieces and nephews. Each of them will carry forward the memory of Chuck's infectious spirit and his unwavering positivity. He is preceded in death by his father, Charles Everett Thomas, Sr.

A graveside service with military honors will be held on Monday, October 28, 2024 at 3:30pm at Sunset Memorial Park.
