Charles Hall

Charles Cornell Hall, a resident of Dothan, AL, passed away on Friday, June 19, 2020 at his residence. He was 72 years old. Graveside services with military honors will be held at 11 am on Saturday, June 27, 2020 in Sunset Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday from 4-6 pm. Charles was born on April 14, 1948 to the late James Preston Hall and Carrie Mae Hall in Columbia, South Carolina. He graduated from Boys High School in Brooklyn, New York in 1966. After graduating from high school, he enlisted in the United States Army for several years. He is also a graduate of Columbia Commercial College in Columbia, South Carolina. Charles was preceded in death by his parents and his younger brother, Jerry Hall, and his loving wife of 42 years, Jayne Ellen Hall. Charles leaves to cherish his memory, four beautiful daughters, Cornette "Connie" (Terrance) White, Robin (Jeremy) Hollis, Iaisha "Nikki" (Carsar) Hall, all of Dothan, Alabama; two handsome sons, Charles (Tabitha) Hall of Junction City, Kansas, Kelvin (Erica) Hall of Clarksville, TN; he leaves fifteen grandchildren, Brittini Ervin, Marckuis Ervin, Tye Davis, Brandon Chambers, Tatianna Davis, Sidnia Barrera, Zavion Wimberly, Carlos Hall, Shiann Gosha, Trinity Davis, Alexzia Bradley, Justin Barthelemy, Kelvin Hall, Jayden Grant, and Avery Jayne Hall; six great-grandchildren, Makenzi Ansico, Londyn Ervin, Abram Egboh, Jaliyah Davis, Kyree Ervin, and Paris Jones; a devoted brother, Jimmy "Bubba" Hall and his sister, Betty Hall-Perkins; and a host of family and friends.
