Charles Earl Hubbard

Charles Earl Hubbard, a resident of Wicksburg passed away on Thursday, October 1, 2009 at Flowers Hospital. He was 65.

Memorial services will be held at 5:00 p.m. on Sunday, October 4, 2009 at the Sunset Funeral Home Chapel with Boss Jay Hubbard officiating and Robert Byrd directing.Mr. Hubbard was born on February 10, 1944 in Houston County and lived the early years of his life in Wicksburg. He moved to Pensacola in the late 1960’s and managed the Big Ten tire store and later owned and operated Wiregrass Well Drilling and Hubbard Well Drilling. In the early 1980’s he moved to Panama City and started Panhandle Drilling. He has resided in Wicksburg for the past 2 years.Survivors include his son Jason Hubbard and his wife Melissa of Youngstown, FL; 3 grandchildren, Ryan Tennyson, Haylan Hubbard, Steele Hubbard; his mother, Blondell Hubbard of Wicksburg; brothers, Eugene Hubbard of Wicksburg, Glenn Hubbard of Wicksburg, Phillip Hubbard of Panama City, Leonard Hubbard of Wicksburg; a sister Betty Hubbard of Wicksburg. Burial Date: January 1, 1970
