Charles Earl Walker

Charles Walker, a resident of Dothan, passed away at his home on Saturday, March 25, 2017. He was 80.

Graveside services with Military Honors will be held at 3 pm on Wednesday, March 29, 2017 at Sunset Memorial Park Military Pavilion with Jim Crowe officiating. In lieu of flowers, please make memorial contributions to Disabled American Veterans, Chapter 87, P.O. Box 6863, Dothan, AL 36302.

Mr. Walker served in the US Navy for 8 years and in the US Army for 12 years. He was a Vietnam Veteran, who spent his retirement dedicated to helping other veterans in the DAV.

He is survived by his wife Betty of 43 years; his daughter, Laura Shire; his sister, Virginia Parker; 2 nieces and nephews.
