Clifford Clarence Weaver

April 9, 1925 — July 8, 2017

Clifford Clarence Weaver of Columbia, Alabama passed away on Saturday, July 8, 2017 at his residence. He was 92.

Services will be held on Monday, July 17, 2017 at 4 pm in Sunset Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Roy Rogers officiating. Burial will follow in Sunset Memorial Park with Robert Byrd directing. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 3-4 pm Monday.

Mr. Weaver was born April 9, 1925 in Knoxville, Tennessee and was raised there. He served in the U.S. Navy as a seaman first class during WWII. He moved to Birmingham in 1963 and was employed as the head printer for Rust Engineering. He relocated to Dothan in the 1980s and enjoyed fishing, loved gardening, baseball, and the Atlanta Braves. He never missed a game!

He is preceded in death by his parents Elbert and Della Weaver and his wife, Betty, and daughter, Connie.

He is survived by his son, Larry (Debra) Weaver; a sister, Loretta; three grandchildren, Jeremiah Lulling, Merissa (Michael) Bush, and Kali (John) Mixon; and 5 great-grandchildren.< /p> ) Burial Date July 17, 2017
