Clifton Pete Smith

Clifton “Pete” Smith, 73, a resident of Dothan passed away Saturday December 10, 2016 at Henry County Health and Rehabilitation.

Memorial services will be held 2pm Tuesday December 13, 2016 at Sunset Funeral Home Chapel. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 1pm-2pm Tuesday.

Mr. Smith was born August 15, 1943 in Houston County and he resided in Dothan most of his life.  He was employed with Pepsi Cola Bottling Company for several years as a route supervisor. Mr. Smith was later employed with Wal Tire Company and Purolator Courier before his medical retirement. Mr. Smith was a member of Henry County Rescue Unit.

Survivors include his son, Scott Lynn Smith; his daughter, Karen Mark Laroche; 4 grandchildren, Kandice Edwards, Danielle Smith, Kaitlyn John Michael McCurley and Cade Smith; 3 great-grandchildren, Madison Parker, McKenzie Fulton and Ansley Kate Smith; his brother, Billy Gene Elaine Smith; his sister, Barbara Lee; several nieces and nephews.
