Cortney Elaine McCullough, 18, of Dothan passed away June 13, 2012 at her home.
Funeral services will be 2 pm Saturday, June 16, 2012 at Sunset Funeral Home with Rev. Van Cooley officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery with Robert Byrd directing. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday from 6 pm until 8 pm. Flowers are being accepted or memorials may be made to Day Spring Hospice, 201 West Lee Street, Enterprise, Alabama 36330.
Cortney was born August 12, 1993 in Houston County and she resided all of her life in Dothan. She attended Rehobeth School and loved to color and draw with aspirations of becoming an artist. She attended Cloverdale Baptist Church.
Survivors include parents, David & Cindy Tice of Dothan and Steve and Debbie McCullough of Midland City; grandparents, Bill & Betty Lux of Dothan, Bobby & Hilda Deese of Headland, John & Sallie McCullough of Midland City, Archie Wright of Rehobeth, Patsy & Rex Watkins of Dothan, and Willie Tice of Dothan; great-grandparents, Jane & John Heitzenrater and Earl Deese; brothers, John David McCullough, Jeremy McCullough, Justin Tice, Tyler Tice, David Tice, and Nicholas McCullough; a sister Ashley Jackson; several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews also survive.
The family would like to express a thank you to the nurses and staff of Day Spring Hospice and her caregiver Bobby Tolar.
