Dan West, 74, of Dothan died Wednesday, Feb. 2, 2011 in Dothan.

Services will be 11 am Saturday, Feb. 5, 2011 at Shady Grove Baptist Church #1, Hodgesville Road, with Rev. Roger Ward officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Visitation will be 1 hour prior to the service at the church.rnMr. West was born Feb. 13, 1936 in Houston County and lived in Dothan most of his life. He was employed with the City of Dothan for over 20 years prior to his retirement in 1995.rnSurvivors include his daughters Vanessia Snell Eddie of Dothan and Vivian Ash Wallace of Dothan; a grandchild Ashley Snell of Dothan; a sister Mary Jackson Willie of Dothan; a host of nieces and nephews and many friends also survive. Burial Date: January 1, 1970
