David Caddell

David Caddell, 71, of Dothan passed away Tuesday, December 31, 2013 at a local hospital.

Funeral services will be 11am Friday, January 3, 2014 at Sunset Funeral Home with Rev. Marcus Murdock officiating. Burial will follow in Sunset Memorial Park with Robert Byrd directing. The family will receive friends from 10-11pm prior to the service at the funeral home.

Mr. Caddell was born August 10, 1942 in Patterson, NJ and lived there the early part of his life. He was a veteran of the Vietnam War having served in the U.S. Army. He moved to Dothan in 1960 and was employed with civil service at Ft. Rucker since 1973 as an equipment specialist until his retirement in 2000. He was later employed with Dyncorp for 3 years. Mr. Caddell was a Mason. He was preceded in death by his parents Edwin and Nellie Caddell.

Survivors include his son David Caddell Misti; a daughter Dianne Ingram; grandchildren, Hudson Caddell, David Ingram and Whitney Ingram; a sister Barbara Verbics.
