David Adrain Dumas

David Adrain Dumas, a resident of Altoona, Alabama passed away on Tuesday, February 16, 2010 at his daughter’s residence in Midland City. He was 61.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm on Thursday, February 18, 2010 at the Morgan Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jimmy Dyer officiating. Burial will follow in the Pineview Methodist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 11-1 prior to the service at the funeral home.Mr. Dumas was born on February 11, 1949 in Altoona, AL and resided there most of his life. He was self employed and owned and operated Dumas Super Signs for 22 years until his retirement in September 2009. He enjoyed playing pool, chess and Pacman, and also enjoyed reading his bible.Mr. Dumas was preceded in death by his parents, James Adrain Dumas and Mildred Dumas; a sister Darlene Fiaccatto; his brothers, James Edwin Dumas, Randy Dumas.Survivors include his wife Marsha Lynn Dumas; his children, Tina Newman and her husband Daniel, Jennifer Holliday and her husband Jeff, Jerame Dumas and his wife Nicole, Josh Dumas and his wife Brittany; grandchildren, Stephanie Newman, Drake Newman, Cody Holliday, Brody Holliday, Hana Dumas, Natalee Dumas, Jayden Dumas; brothers, Danny Dumas and his wife Ann, Kevin Dumas; a sister-in-law Cathy Shirey. Burial Date: January 1, 1970
