David Ray Vincent

David Ray Vincent, a resident of Dothan, passed away on Sunday, May 2, 2010 at Wesley Manor. He was 60.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am on Thursday, May 6, 2010 in the Sunset Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Eddie Bliss officiating. Burial with Military Honors will follow in Sunset Memorial Park with Robert Byrd directing. The family will receive friends from 6-8 pm on Wednesday at the funeral home.David served 6 years in the U. S. Army and had 2 tours in Vietnam. He received the Bronze Star and was honorably discharged in 1970.Survivors include his wife of 39 years, Carol Ann Vincent, Dothan; his mother, Norma Jean Rapp, Michigan; his two sons, Vincent “Vinnie” Vincent and his wife Leigh, Dothan and Travis Vincent and his wife Martha, Arizona; his daughter, Raeanne Vincent, Dothan; his four grandsons, Tyler, Will, Tayvien, and Trey.The family wishes to express a very special thanks to Wesley Manor, Wiregrass Hospice, Dothan Rescue Mission, and all his special friends for their care and concern.
