David Walker

David Walker, 70, a resident of Ozark passed away April 28, 2015 at a local hospital.

Funeral services will be held 2pm Thursday, April 30, 2015 at Stonebridge Church of God with Rev. Foy Ingram officiating.  Burial will follow in Asbury United Methodist Church Cemetery with Robert Byrd directing.  The family will receive friends at the church from 1pm until 2pm Thursday.

Mr. Walker was born January 24, 1945 in Dale County and he resided all of his life in Ozark. He was employed with AAA Cooper for over 30 years prior to his retirement. Mr. Walker was an avid Alabama Football fan and loved watching western movies and Gun Smoke. Mr. Walker was a member of Stonebridge Church of God.

Survivors include his wife of 47 years, Peggy Walker; his sons, Daniel Walker and David Walker both of Ozark; several In-laws, cousins, aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Gearld Walker, Janatious Paul, Winston Bruner, Barry Lawrence, Max Leatherwood, and Ned Langdon.
