Deborah Ann Smith

Deborah Smith, a resident of Dothan passed away on Thursday, October 1, 2009 at her residence. She was 56.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, October 4, 2009 at the Sunset Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Rick Glenn officiating. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. on Saturday at the funeral home. At all other times the family will be at 403 Powder Horn Dr., Midland City, AL, 36350. Mrs. Smith was born on July 13, 1953 in Houston County and lived in Dothan all of her life. She owned and operated Deb’s Party Rental for over 20 years and was a homemaker. She enjoyed coaching softball at Doug Tew for several years and was a member of Grandview Baptist Church.Survivors include her husband Charles Smith of Dothan; a son Braden Sims of Dothan; daughters, Brandi Sims of Dothan, Anna Brooke Phillips and her husband Brandon of Dothan; 4 grandchildren, Keaton and Braxton Phillips, Audree and Meri Grace Miller; a brother Larry Thomley and his wife Sheila of Dothan; nieces, Kim Holley of Dothan, Kerri Sheffield of Atlanta. Burial Date: January 1, 1970
