Dianna S. (Scarborough) Rogers

Dianna S. Rogers, a resident of Dothan passed away on Thursday, December 8, 2022 at a local hospital. She was 81 years old.

A celebration of her life will be held at 2 pm on Monday, December 12, 2022 in Sunset Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Providence Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday from 1-2 pm. In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorial contributions be made in Dianna's honor to FUR (Felines Under Rescue), PO Box 34, Dothan, AL 36302.

Dianna was born on September 25, 1941 to the late Cullen and Lorene Bryan Scarborough in Dothan, Alabama. She was a 1959 graduate of Dothan High School. In 1960 she married the love of her life, George T. Rogers, Sr. Together they would own and operate Rogers Electronics. Dianna was a very talented artist having painted many beautiful works of art, giving many of her pieces to family and friends. She had a love of music and enjoyed playing the guitar. Her love for her family led her to study Genealogy to learn more about her families' very rich and beautiful history.

Dianna was preceded in death by her husband, George T. Rogers, Sr. and by her parents, Cullen and Lorene Bryan Scarborough.

Survivors include her sons, George T. (Marie) Rogers, Jr. and Jeff B. Rogers; her daughter, Dawn Rogers (Nate) Gordon; her grandchildren, Kyla (Lazar) Toth and Johnnie Rogers; her brother, David (Murriel) Scarborough; and many beloved nieces, nephews, and cousins.
