Diego Isaiah Caple, affectionately known as Diegito, to his beloved family and friends, was a beacon of joy and love in the lives of all who knew him. Born on May 22, 2022, in Dothan, Alabama, to the proud parents Micaela Miguel-Baltazar and Ivorien Caple, Diego's infectious smile and boundless enthusiasm for life left an indelible mark on the world in his brief time here. On March 20, 2025, Diego passed away, leaving behind a legacy of love that will forever be cherished.
From the moment Diego entered this world, he was surrounded by the warmth and affection of a large and loving family. His brother, Isaac D. Caple, was his constant playmate and friend, sharing in the joys of childhood adventures. Diego's aunt, Catarina Miguel-Baltazar, and uncles, Pablo Miguel-Baltazar, Gaspar Miguel-Baltazar, Avery Caple, and Navieon Caple, each held a special place in his heart, as he did in theirs. His grandparents, Petrona Baltazar-Miguel, Diego Miguel-Sebastian, Billy Caple, and Patricia Caple, doted on him with the tenderness that only grandparents can provide. His great grandparents, Ommer Caple and Billy F. Caple, also shared in the joy and celebration of Diego's life.
Diego's interests were as vibrant and lively as he was. He adored the Blippy Show, which would often have him giggling with delight. His fascination with dinosaurs and cars sparked countless hours of imaginative play. He also enjoyed playing with building blocks, carefully stacking and creating little masterpieces. Diego's love for motion extended to the outdoors, where he could frequently be found riding his tricycle or 4-wheeler with glee. He loved most being outdoors, where he could run free and play. His favorite snack, french fries, was always a surefire way to bring a smile to his face.
An animal lover through and through, Diego cherished his time playing with his pet chickens and the family dog. Their shared moments were filled with laughter and the kind of simple happiness that animals and children alike can inspire. Always on the move, Diego enjoyed playing with soccer and basketballs, his energy and enthusiasm for the games shining through.
The word "loving" encapsulates Diego's essence perfectly. His heart was full of love for everyone and everything around him. His constant smiles and the happiness that seemed to radiate from him were a testament to the joy he found in every moment. Diego was a happy little boy whose spirit lifted the hearts of those around him.
While Diego's time on this earth was far too short, the impact he made will endure. His ability to spread happiness, to love without reservation, and to find joy in the simplest of things serves as a reminder to us all of the precious nature of life. Diego Isaiah Caple may have been with us for only a little while, but the memories he created will be treasured by his family and friends for a lifetime.
