Donald Floyd

Donald Ray Floyd, 53, of Dothan passed away Tuesday, December 11, 2012.

Funeral services will be 11 am Thursday, December 13, 2012 at Sunset Funeral Home with Rev. Andy Wood officiating. Burial will follow in Gardens of Memory Cemetery with Robert Byrd directing. The family will receive friends from 10-11 am prior to the service at the funeral home.

Donald was born January 16, 1959 in Maryland and lived in Dothan most of his life. He attended Dale County High School and was employed as an electrician during most of his working career. He was preceded in death by his father J.T. Floyd and a brother Woody Floyd.

Survivors include his mother Pauline Floyd of Dothan; a daughter Chelsea Stamp of Geneva; 2 grandchildren, Jayden and Jaxson Stamp; a sister Norma Powell; brothers, Gene Floyd, Jimmy Floyd, Johnny Floyd, and Larry Floyd; several nieces and nephews also survive.
