Donna Glover May, a beacon of love and creativity, passed away peacefully on April 29, 2024, in Dothan, Alabama. Born on January 29, 1963, in Pensacola, Florida, Donna's life was a testament to her kind and fiery spirit, which she shared generously with everyone around her.

Donna's journey through life was filled with joy and a deep commitment to her family. She was a beloved wife to her husband Jackie May, with whom she shared nearly four decades of marriage since 1985. Together, they created a warm and loving home for their children, Jonathan (Wendy)Adams, Brad (Mandy) Adams, Katie (Justin) Givens, and Heather May. Donna's nurturing heart extended to her cherished grandchildren: Logan Adams, Joseph Parrish, Trevor Spivey, Ansa Carter, Karsyn Adams, Maddie Jo Adams, Charlie Givens, and Lucas Givens, who will carry her legacy forward.

A sister and friend, Donna leaves behind her brother, Thomas Glover (Genon), who will miss her deeply. She was preceded in death by her dear parents, Sonny and Joyce Glover, and her daughter, Heather May, who she now joins in eternal rest.

Donna's passion for helping others was evident in her professional life as a dedicated nurse. After obtaining her associate's degree from Wallace Community College, she served the community with compassion as a nurse at Flowers Hospital and Dothan Pediatrics before retiring in 2003. Her caring nature and skilled hands brought comfort and healing to countless lives.

A woman of faith, Donna was an active member of Bethel Baptist Church, where she found strength and fellowship. Her spirituality was closely tied to her love of music, as she lifted spirits as a singer with the Real Joy Group. Donna's artistic talents also shone brightly through her photography and murals she painted at Webb Baptist Church, leaving a lasting impression of beauty for all to admire.

Gardening was one of Donna's favorite pastimes, with a particular fondness for the elegant irises she tended to with a green thumb. Her creative flair was equally evident in her decorating projects, where she transformed spaces into warm and inviting havens. Donna's crafty nature was a source of joy not only for her but for those who were lucky enough to receive one of her unique creations.

The beach held a special place in Donna's heart, serving as a sanctuary where she found peace and inspiration. Her love for the ocean's vast beauty was a reflection of her own expansive heart and spirit.

Known for her fiery personality, Donna was also an avid baseball fan, cheering on her boys with enthusiasm and unwavering support. Her presence at games was always a source of fun and excitement.

Donna was a loving, creative, and kind soul whose presence uplifted those around her. Her legacy of love, generosity, and artistry will live on through her family, friends, and all the lives she touched. Her memory will continue to inspire and guide us, like the vibrant colors of her beloved irises, long into the future.
